Im intereseted to know why some djs in the post have BOTH vinyl tables and cdj's....?

Im lookin into spinning as a hobbie or maybe more.... Whats the difference between mixing with cd's and vinyl. All oppinions welcome here cuz i really do wanna see some different points of view on this matter....The more the merrier :)

because you can rent them out to people for extra cash =P you can get promo's on cd and play them out, and for older stuff that I don't want to take the records out of the sleeve I put them on cd then play them so that they stay mint.

plus it's fun to make your own scratch cds =P

i would say on the downside it really does promote illigal downloads, i have many friends which have cdj's, and its all about downloading music to them.

gone from actually buying vinyl, to just downloading the song...

I just received my 2xTT-200's, a DM1050, and 1xSony MDRV700DJ's today from Amazon, i was so psyched and then realized I forgot cartridges lol -_-
just ordered 2 Stanton 520SK's... cant wait for them to get here
I still need speakers of some sort though.. anyone got any good suggestions?
