this guy, karlheinz stockhausen, made this music in the 50/60s. from what ive heard it is electricy signals, and radio frequencies and such over top of percussion....
electronic music from the 50s! crazy!
you should all check this shit out.

Is that the guy that built the first synth? The Moog or whatnot? Whoever it was it was pretty cool to be the creator of an entire genre. I think I saw a comp of early electronic music in the bargain bin at tower, think it's worth a listen?

electronic sounds from the 50's aren't the roots of electronic music though.. yes, influences and ideas from early electronic music experimentation have been incorportated into today's music, but the roots come more from northern soul, jazz, disco, and house.
