I don't really see the big problem in this, as I take it the meats just the same, taste e.t.c, but its just killed differently? I couldn't care less what way its killed, its killed no matter what, as long as I get good quality meat, but I agree about how religion comes into this, well suppose its their religion to have animals killed that way, but like mentioned they have there own muslim shops and takeaways e.t.c, so why not stick to that? or as other people have mentioned as well, have a choice of both, or advertise to people that it is halal meat they serve, very much doubt I've ever had halal meat anyway

I have no issue eating Halal meat. What I do disagree with however, is that pork products are removed, preventing non Muslims eating them. Not that my opinion is worth anything on the matter.

I read somewhere that Muslims allow stunning but Jewish don't. I think the latter is too brutal. But as someone pointed out earlier, the animal rights are so ****ed up, that this is hardly the biggest or even among the biggest issues when it comes to animal welfare.

This. Also the fact that the slaughtering has to be done by a Muslim leads to religious discrimination on said profession.
