This is probably my favourite video of it...*found it*
if that version doesn't work for you, here's the original off liveleak http://www.liveleak.com/view?f=142521946fca
explosion happens at 0.34seconds and comes completely out of the blue
very dramatic! :D the rest of the videos I've seen don't quite seem to be as dramatic as this one!
christ I love liveleak! of course, alot of speculation as to whether or not this has anything to do with the 'roid that's due this evening - but scientists have already poo pooed that speculation by pointing out that the comet is coming from the south...and this didn't (it hit the northern hemisphere). Just a huge cosmic coincidence!

First video I saw actually having the banging within it, which is crazy. I could only imagine seeing something shine as bright as the sun, and then a bunch of windows break all at once and hearing a bunch of banging. I'd think it was a missile, and I need to get the **** out of this city.

I kind of hope that there will be some more of this poking earth. That way, we maybe stop shooting at each other and, instead, blast meteorites together.

I would love to be around for the end of the world. If I knew everyone was gonna die basically instantly - it would be pretty sweet to experience it. Obviously you'd be dead, and you couldn't talk about how cool it was with your mates in the pub after - but it would be spectacular. Fcuking mental set of emotions to deal with in those last few minutes, too.

Oh, there's a movie called "Seeking a friend for the end of the world" starring Keira Knightley and Steve Carell. As far as I remember, the world is ending because of a huge meteorite. But don't confuse it with "Melancholia"! This film is horrible ;)
