I haven't played it, I don't think I will either, I love adventure and exploring games but Skyrim doesn't appeal to me at all for some reason.

I don't get this. Why are so many people saying that? How do you know if it appeals to you if you haven't even played it? lol!

One of my mates says the exact same thing. Loads of my other mates are all playing it & going on about it & because he's been the last to find out & get involved he's decided against it.

Jesus, it's got his name written all over it but he can't accept that he didn't get into it first so won't even try.

I mean, i'm against going with trends especially when it comes to computer games because the majority of people gaming now haven't got a clue & buy games because their mates have it, ie COD, but you should always atleast have a go & see for yourself.

Skyrim has set a trend because it's an immense game. COD set a trend because....well tbh it still baffles me how that game is so popular...

Just got to finish the remake of OOT on the 3DS and I'll get right on it. I want Fallout 4 too though. :(

If you like OOT this will blow you away mate. I still stand by OOT & MM being my favorite games of all time but Skyrim is certainly giving them a good challenge! Well worth a look...

Nice, I'm sure it'll be right up my street mate, just my sort of game. OOT on the 3DS has had a massive graphics overhaul somehow making it an even better game. 8) Definitely up there with my favourites of all time. Here's some comparison screens i found - http://www.siliconera.com/2011/04/21/lets-compare-the-legend-of-zelda-ocarina-of-time-n64-and-3ds Sure it's no 'The Witcher 2' on the graphics front but they have polished it up nicely without ruining the feel of it and now I can grab a few heart pieces and gold skulltulas in my lunch break ;p. Controls seem smoother as well.

MM was never quite up there for me but was a great game still. I actually prefer SS, WW and TP to that though.

Have you played The Witcher 2 by the way? Bloody amazing game. Looks like it's hitting the 360 soon too if you don't have a gaming PC.

Bloody hell! I didn't think they'd made such an improvement on the original. They've really done it justice

I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet but will get on it as soon as it makes 360. I think this laptop would melt if I tried to force it to play modern PC games!

Just by watching it on youtube, I can tell if I'm going to like by watching trailers and seeing clips, it looks good but it's just not for me, it's hard to put into words. I also have never played any of the other Elder Scrolls games so that added another '**** it, I'm not bothering'. It also seems like has a ton of bugs and glitches, especially on the consoles, which is what I would play it on, and to be honest, if I was going to play this, I'd want to play it on PC.

Yeh I agree, it would be a much better game if there weren't any glitches atall but when you actually play it & realise the depth & size of the game it's not surprising the console's are struggling a bit.

I'd happily take a few glitches along the way just to play such an immense game. The major one is when your moving through the landscape by horse, every so often the game will freeze for a few seconds then continue again but it's nothing like as bad when your moving by foot as your giving the game more time to load.

Mine has also crashed a couple of times but compared to the hours i've put in, this still doesn't put me off such an epic game. If your a dedicated gamer then you HAVE to check this out, & if your that dedicated you'll play it on PC anyway...

Yeah I didn't either. When I was playing it I thought "I swear this looks better" but they have kept it looking similar enough to trick your memory into thinking this is how it looked haha. They have done a fantastic job with it.

Yes it is quite a hog. :P Thankfully I've got a fairly modern PC so I can have it on ultra with no issues. Looks fantastic! I'll be getting Skrim for PC as well I think. 8)

only trend Skyrim made is how to break your consoles max save size :P

Don't know if I said it earlier, but I have never been a fan of "PC-RPGs" (like Baldur's Gate, Diablo, etc), so playing Skyrim for 1 hour, I'm already meeh. As I didn't get far (just beyond the 1st village), I will give it a try later again.

Only PC-RPGish game I've played more into was Kingdom under Fire for the XBox 360, but other than that I prefer Action Adventure games (like Zelda, Wonderboy and Ys)

I think games like this work better on console than PC. Most of the time, you get to chill. Diablo type rpgs suit PC more due to the amounts of clicking etc you have to do. Not played Skyrim yet, Oblivion was okay but I prefered Morrowind. Just got me FFX13 part 2 hopefully it opens up at the beginning this time. Jacek why you never on your xbox when i'm on :p

When you're not sure about a game and it costs $60 with no returns I'd be a bit hesitant too.

Honestly, I had a friend who tried it for a couple hours.
They fell through the map 3 times and got killed twice by enemies that spawned invisible.

Get it through Gamestop since you're in the states.. seven days to take it back if you don't like it.

I'd recommend Demon's/Dark Souls (both for the PS3) if you like games that resembles Skyrim, but without quests and to-die-for bosses :P
