This is no different to twitrax, tweedia or any other Twitter based social music sites. It wont outgrow Soundcloud. Soundclouds code is very well writtedn, and is perfectly built for its purpose. The advantage its already built is something I dont think is something tht can be broken down by another external site.
The reason it looks bigger is because it has the universal tweeting feature. You upload a track and you can retweet about it. It doesnt work very well because your tweeps can read it - but no one actually has many tweeps.. Soundclouds reach covers Tumblr FB, Twitter, Youtube, My_ ~ the lot!
Plus the UI is horrible.
Ive signed up and uploaded a track:
The uploading form is simple. No privacy settings, restricted genre selection, no extras that we love to include on Soundcloud like Tempo..
Processing after the upload takes for ever...
The final page includes a Quick time loo-alike plugin. Not a waveform. The Love and Tweet options seem standard, but comments restricted to the size of a tweet.

lol it's amazing how one tweet on twitter can get the whole hardcore scene signed up before the day is out...
I sent a tweet out to billy Daniel bunter this morning about a game change and twit music is the way farward.. He signed up and started uploading music then tweeted about it then boom twit music probably didn't know what hit them
If this doesn't get better than sound loud it's still another platform... Fact is sound loud wasn't as good as it is now when it first started... Now look at it

But this Tweet site has limited scope, limited functionability and is an idea thats been churned over and unimproved countless times. Its going nowhere.

Twitter wont invest in it. It didnt invest in all the other sites like retweedia or Twitrax, and they are EXACTY the same as Twitmusic. Its not going places. There's no community infrastructure. No following or followers... No offense, but I dont see how you could understand anything about this... Ive used sites like this thinking they could widen my fan base, but its led to no avail. My tracks have sat on various sites doing nothing. Ive uploaded the track to twitmusic, and 22 views have come from one username. "Twitmusic"'s username lol. Not even my own tweeps are interested.

thats where you're totally wrong
if u sign in via twitter then u can follow people through twit music and it will auto sync it with your twitter account.. u can make an account and then become fans (follow) other users and vis versa
just because no one is taking any notice of u doesnt mean its shite mate...
