Yes, I know - a very weak and generic name for a mix, but I was really struggling to come up with a name for this one, and I'm determined not to revert back to my method of just naming them by the date they were recorded. Anyways - Sunday --> "the day of sun" --> picture of the sun. All very pretentious and unimaginative.
I posted a mix the other day, so I'm not expecting too many people to go out of their way to listen to this one as well. Thank you if you do though!
I think my mixing is okay these days, technically speaking. I'm just lacking quite a bit on the creativity side of things. That said, I'm not actually a huge fan of listening to mixes/sets that are that techy and choppy, to be fair - it's all about the tracks. It would be quite nice to be able to do more shit though lol. Maybe I'll look up some basic stuff on YouTube.
Six of the tracks I've used are free ones - numbers 01, 03, 05, 07, 11 and 13. If any of you don't have them, or need a link - let me know :-)
P.S. Olly, don't go mad at me for using a Rhythmics track. The man is talented. Can't deny!

Mind you, upon reflection and to be fairer with a little more incisive analysis, track 7, Dougal & Gammer - Guitar Hero (Technikore Remix) sort of let it down.
Far too many pointless note twiddles going on in that one. (bleh)

And you are absolutely right about Guitar Hero - I ballsed that up good and proper. I kept doing it to at least try and make it consistent, but it sounds pretty cringe-worthy.
