The 3-4 times I've recorded a mix, I used my super duper line-to-USB cable \o/ easy peasy!

Haha you know it. 8) Had hours of fun on it. Hip Hop E-Jay even came with a plastic deck that you could attach a mouse to and using the mouse ball as a "needle" on a real record you could "scratch" samples on the computer. **** Serato etc. E-Jay, was way ahead of the game.

oh god, well, I had a demo of dance ejay
but it was far outshon by RAVE ejay! which was actual hardcore! all at 180bpm!
I still have tracks I made with that back when i was like 13 - i have them sitting right here - my voice is in them too! LOL
I bought them both again recently, for old times sake...

the usb to line cable thing, i was gonna get one but i wasnt sure if id be better off getting one of those cheap numark soundcards, only for recording mixes, is it worth the extra money? or will the cable do just as well?

well my numark ttusb isnt connected throu USB at, as this computer works nicely to have no lagg during recording from audio connectors
