They've been airing the British version of The Office on cartoon network, and it is so boring. Do any of you Britians even watch it?

its not a version, it's the original.
and no, i found it boring too, often wondered what other brits found so funny about it.
truth is, i expect, the reason brits find it funny is because its a parody of british offices...hense americans wouldn't find that funny, as british offices are going to be different than american ones - and with it being british comedy, we arent going to try and simplify it or make it generic so that everyone will find it funny - british comedy tends to shoot for one target - if you arent its target you won't find it funny.
that said, its nothing like our office.

I do work in an office and it's very much like mine. I find it mildly amusing but that's about it. I can imagine that it isn't funny at all to anyone who can't relate really. The American version is. :-/

I liked it, and yes as already said the British one is the original....I enjoyed the subtle humour and awkward moments.

Believe he means Adult Swim, which shows weird cartoons, Anime, and "live-action" shows that are equally weird at night when kids are sleeping.

adult swim kept me sane whilst I lived in the states, though of all the GOOD british comedy shows they could have aired, why did they pick somthing as "marmite" as The Office lol
they'd have done a far better job with The Day Today, Kick The Pony, Big Train, Blackadder, Couplnig, Brass Eye ...even horrible historys ;)
all much beter than the office imo.

Have only heard about Blackadder, and i thought it was just weird.
Men Behaving Badly is a good show and so is Two Pints of Lager.

Yeah i wouldn't call them examples of good English comedy. Many would consider Blackadder to be though, and it is indeed incredibly British. Men Behaving Badly is good for sure.

I can't stand the American one to be honest, too slapstick, too watered down, generic and loud, and pretty much loses everything that made the original great. The same thing happens with every remake though, I dread to think what the US remakes of Misfits and The Inbetweeners will come out like. The Skins one was absolute trash by all accounts, and the Being Human one is dire.

technically I never said they were good examples of good british comedy - they are just ones that would have gone down well.
for my taste they are good examples - but thats just it, its where comical taste comes in!
Coupling (UK) went down an absolute storm when it aired on BBC America.....when they later aired Coupling US even the american's were like "what the **** have you done?!" lol
