$40? thats a bit pricey! you can pick them up here in the UK for about 15 in a second hand shop!
that is a truely retarded price to pay just for a brand new in box gamecube!
baffles me why people would pay that much just because it's still boxed, each to their own though i guess

That's a total rip off when you can buy a new wii for 100. If people are stupid enough though can you blame them. Why not just buy a wii. They play all gamecube games you just need to plug in a gamecube controller. Anyway the only time I used my gamecube and currently my wii is for the Mario and Legend of Zelda games.

thats a buy it now price, i could put a paper clip on there with a buy it now of 800.... doesnt mean it's worth it, lol
but yeah, consoles in mint condition sell very well to collectors, i sold a mint nes console couple of months ago for 150 & that was only listed for 2 days b4 it sold, so im sure i couldve got more.

The nes/snes tho compared to a GameCube isn't comparable the GameCube isn't 400 good **** me u can get an iPhone for that haha

Yeah it's the BNIB that does it. You pay 400 now...all you have to do is keep it stored away in your room, wait 10 years or so and it could be worth 1K - A nice little investment when you've long forgotten about the 400 you spent.
Personally though I wouldn't, I still have a SNES and my old Gameboy Colour but I still use them lol They're probably my favorite consoles of all time and I'm not really a gamer anymore.

They're going in my local Cash Generator (Smack Generator) for 7.99.
I'd happily pay that just so I could play the re released version of the first Resident Evil, not to mention both Zelda OOT & MM...

i have pretty much every games console brought out since the megadrive (dnt know if they work) still have the box for my original playstation got it for xmas in 1995 (makes me feel old) i mite see if i can get as much as that for it lol i doubt it but it's worth a shot i think
