Any drug can kill, that's life. The people who are dying off it are taking crazy shit amounts of it and are mixing it with other drugs and/or to much alcohol.
I've taken it personally and it's not that bad, the only problem I had was that my nose was on fire when I snorted it, and I wanted more of it not long after I took it, it didn't take long for that to go though.
As for tobacco being legal and weed not, do you get stoned off tobacco?
At least we know whats in the said medication your talking about.
The fact is this needs to be made illegal.

That dosn't actually make any difference though, other than suddenly it gains a coolness factor because it's illegal. The wide array of illegal drugs that people do shows you that their legal status actually changes nothing apart from there is no quality control and they are cut with adulterants, so actually it's worse for these things to be illegal.

Thank you, good sir.
(I would have said that myself, but it seems like I always get called an idiot afterwards??)

LOL @ Fishy.
LOL @ Fishy.
Why cos of his immature comments yeah lets all have a big fat lugh because people are dying from taking these drugs!!
A big fooking 'YEAH'
Im just trying to make a point on how stupid I think this irrational big fear of drugs is... And the illusion that making drugs illegal is gonna help anything. Its all ******** planted in ur brain by the media, its far from the truth as Hard2Get already told.

Legalise drugs, it's better for everyone. Weed, LSD, X, hell even GHB apparently do less damage to your body than alcohol or tobacco. Government would probably save and earn money.
Save, because they would spend less time and money on people who are unrightly labeled criminals (imo), and there'd be much more room in jails for people who commit serious crimes like murder, rape, etc.
Earn, because they could (and probably should) run the sale of drugs, and as such have proper quality control so the drugs are pure, which in turn would make it safer for the users.
In the end, having illegal, tainted drugs is bad for everyone. People who really want to do drugs will get them regardless of legal status, and because they're illegal, the drugs suck.

What am trying to say is that no one really knows what is in this drug fgs!
Its not fertiliser its sold under the pretence that its is this and says not for human consumption,
people choose to ignore this thus people taking it with such serious and fatal consequences.

That took me all of 5 seconds to find. People have the power to know exactly what's in it if they want to, and know full well it isn't plant feed and could, with this knowledge, research the drug further for possible side effects etc but the fact is they don't. They take it quite freely like they would any other drug which is entirely human fault not that of the drug which i believe is what Hard2Get, and pretty much everyone else in this topic talking any sense, is getting at . Making the drug illegal won't change people's irresponsible attitude to taking said drug or any other drug and if this drug were made illegal another would just pop up in it's place. The fact that you think real research and study of this drug is "stupid" is itself stupid. The more we know about this new drug the less lives will be lost - know thine enemy. Any drug has the potential to kill if taken irresponsibly, if the drug were made illegal and brushed under the carpet without any study that would be extremely irresponsible.

Fishy, this irrational big fear of drugs you mention is really quite rational. People take drugs, people die. I know it's hard to see, but there is a cause and effect hidden in there
It's almost funny how far people will go to protect something they have an interest in.
It's pretty damn obvious the drug can be easily lethal, but it's perfectly fine, the user was just an idiot for dying.
Seriously, some of you guys would have more credibility if you acknowledged both sides of a coin while admitting you prefer one side over the other, instead of pretending the other side doesn't exist.

Just for the record i have no interest in methedrone, in fact i don't like what i have heard about it and it seems pretty dodgy to me. So i actually have no benefit in defending it. I had just assumed people would know that im speaking from a point of objectivity as opposed to being biased.

I wouldn't take it either..
quote: Wikipediat:
According to the Darlington Drug and Alcohol Action Team, mephedrone can cause nose bleeds, nose burns, hallucinations, nausea, vomiting, blood circulation problems, rashes, anxiety, paranoia, fits, and delusions. According to Crew2000, other side effects may include poor concentration, poor short-term memory, increased heart rate, abnormal heart beats, anxiety, depression, increased sweating, dilated pupils, the inability to normally open the mouth, and teeth grinding.
I don't see the point in this, just for some little bit of euphoria.. the music can make it too imo, especially happy hardcore

Same. I have no interest in taking Mephedrone, nor any other drug at this moment in my life.
I fully acknowledge both sides of the argukment and accept this drug, like most, has the potential to be lethal, but fatalities can be avoided quite easily. So, as harsh as it sounds, the people who have died from taking this drug were indeed idiots. The information, if desired, is just a few clicks of the mouse away, yet they took this drug without even bothering to think what damage it could do. That is foolish.

Well I don't have any interest in this drug, I wont take it as I don't like stimulants at all, I hate the effects of amphetamines... I stick to my weed, some kratom and some good beer...

I think it's stupid to have 50 students volunteert to try out this drug as it could prove to be fatal.
