Just uploaded a house mix I did earlier on YouTube so I thought I post a topic on here for all the house-heads 
I had to cut it short cause videos can only be ten minutes long so there's only three tracks in it, Meh.
Anyway I'm hoping for some feedback on it cause I've been mixing a while now so I'm trying to start getting more creative with my mixes.

Nice, I love house, used to listen to it all the time before getting into Hardcore.
BTW : If you have a special Director/Artist or anything else -Account, you can upload videos that last an hour or something like that, in high quality.

When I'm not in the mood for Hardcore ( very very often in the last months ), I just listen to House, Trance, or some slow music such as this which is pretty cool : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNT7uZf7lew

Yeah these last few months haven't been the best. But thats okay cause its gives us a chance to branch out a bit to other genres. Like house, electro and trance

its nice if you spread it extreamly thinly on hot fresh toast. if you put more than a pea sizes amount on it tastes horrid - the stuff is only supposed to add a taste to it, like you would sprinkle herbs over a salad..but you would tip bucketloads on :P

Well I'm open minded I'd kinda like to try it. Sounds as if I would regret it though
It's Hed Kandi stuff. Thats like a genre itself to me. But if i had to label it I suppose I'd say dark electro-house? I'm not to good with sub-genres It's just good house music
But if you're new to house music I think visiting the Hed Kandi website would definitely be a good idea. Some great stuff on there. The tunes in my mix are from Twisted Disco and The Mix 2009. I would recommend both.

You can't be serious? It's completely different Funky bassline? That definitely wasn't in the original. Are you sure what you think is the original isn't actually that remix? It's actually a mash-up done by an Irish fella. It's EXCELLENT. As are all the rest of his mash-ups actually. If mash-ups are your thing like. I'm a bit of a mash-up fan you see Might try my hand at one someday actually... Hmm...

But both sound very similar to the original. House remixes of House tracks are always pretty similar to the original track compared to Hardcore remixes of Hardcore tracks. Just compare "David Guetta - Love Is Gone" and "David Guetta - Love Is Gone ( Joachim Garraud & Fred Rister Remix )". Or "Freeform Five - No More Conversation" and "Freeform Five - No More Conversation ( Mylo Remix )". And then compare "Styles & Breeze - Electric ( Specialist Sound Mix )" and "Electric - Styles & Breeze" or "S3RL - Pretty Rave Girl" and "S3RL - Pretty Rave Girl ( Suae vs. Orbit1 Remix )". You will see that there's much more difference in 2 versions of a Hardcore track than a House track.

Some good juicy basslines on there. Liked the 2nd version best if you remove the Kylie Minogue vocals. I can't stand her.

Yeah thats true alright. Never noticed until now though. But who needs remixs in house cause the tunes are always great first time round
Except the original of love is gone. I don't like that at all but I love the remix. I hadn't heard that remix of Pretty Rave Girl though thanks for that. Class song isn't it? That's one thing thats great about hardcore. A good remix can completely change a song. Sometimes from crap to good, other times from good to EPIC like in the Squad-E mix of Sweetheart. That's quite possibly my favourite build ever.

Not half as good as the Destination Calabria Remix but still it's worth a listen.
Really? I think she's an excellent singer. I think her vocals add alot to the track. You should have a look at that guys other videos they're very good I must say. If you like mash-ups that is. Here's another good one actually while we're on the subject of mash-ups...

I like the Watch Out remix as much as Destination Calabria :)
And I think Hardcore remixes of House tracks seriously suck. Just check out "Stay - Joey Riot" which is a remix from "Stay - David Guetta" or, as we're already talking about, the original Destination Calabria and "Calabria - Ensur".
The last I listened to Ensur's remix of Calabria was last summer and I thought it totally sucks. Now I think it's not THAT bad. But the original is still waaaayy better !

No I definitely prefer the Destination Calabria one. It's funky-er and more bassy. Not sayin the Watch Out remix is bad or anything. I like Nari & Milani actually.
Oh ya i totally agree with you on the Hardcore mixes of house tracks thing. So many good hose songs slaughtered. The exception of course being Anon - Pjanoo
