Are getting a tad silly. Any chance of having one sticky topic that people can post them in and a new rule that people shouldn't make new topics for the sole purpose of posting youtube vids.

TBH, i havent seen that many. When theres two more or less the same topics, the newer one should be locked. So if a moderator havent done that, just PM one.
People attaching youtube videos to their individual posts is another thing. And as annoying as it is to some, dont think there should be much more done then to tell the person that its a bit too excessive. Which IMO has been done by other members.

No i don't often press play either. I just find it a pain in the arse when I open a new topic and it was just an excuse to post youtube vids or when youtube vids are plastered over loads of posts. Seems a bit pointless.

If its a thread like the "Post A Tune" thread then i think Youtube vids are acceptable. But i agree when people just chuck em in for the sake of it it can get really annoying (naming no names obviously )
I dont think a thread just for vids would be a great idea, maybe people just need a bit of good old internet bullying whenever they make such a post!

Aye post a tune thread was ok. That's the sort of thing I was talking about just making a sticky. Then people don't need to plaster then all over the forums they can stick them all there.

Yeah, maybe that's the answer... :P I've just seen it work well on other sites having a youtube vid thread but I guess they are much bigger sites with a load of shite being posted.

Sounds good to me, make that sort of thread a sticky and maybe another sticky for random vids if people feel there's a need for it. One for tunes - one for nonsense - simples.
