Hey...just wonderin wat all ur experiences r at raves??? like good or bad......i am goin to my first soon(ish) and i am kinda excited and worried!! ! and i was guna ask how u all dance but i think it got that sorted!!!

SAMMY....My first party was a blast...I didn't know a thing about the music or the culture. (You definately have the upper hand as being a "newbie" since you know the music well.) I didn't go to a party for another month, and then I raved for 6 months straight 2-3 times a week. I don't remember much of that 6 months. Then once a month for a few years and now I go to a rave maybe every 6 months. You are going to see a lot of crazy things. I've seen people OD'ing, having sex, shooting up heroin, I've been in the middle of riots, I've been to the most peacefull parties. You are going to have your highest highs and maybe your lowest lows from the start of raving till you get tierd/burntout. Have fun, meet lots of people and enjoy the music.

Also...sounds really weird but one of the things I remember most is my mom telling me to put my phone number in my back pocket. she always worried about me!!!

Thanx pandora........ye my dad is makin me take my phone and makin me ring him loadsa times the next day.i dont think it was right to start on a 24 hour one......ahwell if its fun its fun...if it aint then il make it fun!!!... ok im not kinda excited i am really excited.i no it will be fun if i steer clear of the drugs!!!

usually from my experience, most everyone's first party is one those to remember. most people are going in clueless about the whole "rave" thing and don't know what to expect. i had a lot more fun at parties when i was more clueless about the music than i do know a days. i mean don't get me wrong i still have fun, but most of the time it's a bunch of whiney geriatric ravers who wouldn't know a good time if it came up and bit them on the @ss =P

Remember to bring enough cash.....I ran out of money once, it was a 12 hour party...the first 4 hour were great, the other 8 not so great as I almost died of thirst...but met a few nice ravers though who gave me a treat so a could keep partying the last 4 hours....*and repeatedly went to the bathroom to drink water*
Ohh but it was an adventure, not around the world kind of adventure, but it was one.

whats the difference between a rave and hearing hhc in a club i no the music alot louder but whats the difference in cenery like and why the hell do they have a fair there its a music avent?
and how manny ravers go for the music not the drugs and how do u no if your in a drugs free zone or not??
whats the capacity of bowlers and the sancuary ? how big are the main rooms?

raves are fun =) u'll see a lotta crazy shit though, but don't get freaked out. Couple lessons i've learned is DON'T eat pizza/spicy stuff before parties if you're going to dance and buy one bottle of water and refill it in the bathroom sinks the rest of the night, save a lotta $$$.

in the early days there was always the problem that you never could buy some food at partys , after mush drinking an dancing mine stomach was going mad because i must something to eat.
and ones i had less money but that was because i was to stuppid to buy merchandise at the start of an party. thunderdome 96.
but mine m8 must get drinks and they get water out the badroom tere.
but at mine first rave i also not expected who it was like to be , but i was going for the music and the awasome atmoshfeer was an bonus and a very big bonus.
also i remeber that there were many hotgirls ( also with not many clothes on) i kissed with 3 :) ( french kissing :D
