Paul Van Dyk has made some really good Trance in the past, e.g., Out there and back, For an angel etc, etc......
These days tho he makes more progressive stuff, as does Ferry Corsten.
Imo Ferry Corsten was the best dj and producer untill he started making Progressive Trance. Tiesto did the same.

ferry corsten made some tracks that are just EMBARASSING... like that Starparty - I'm In Love track... (if u haven't heard it, u don't know how bad vocal trance can really be).I've always preferred armin van buuren's productions to ferry corsten's (aka terry foreskin's)

Starparty , I'm in Love is one of the most awesome tracks I haev heard. At least the one featured on his Transmissions Amsterdam is. I cannot remember if it is a remix.
but my two favorite tracks would be, Armin Van Buuren-Communication,
