I live in New york city, and being a hardcore lover, i havent seen anything that appeals to me in this city. CLoudskipper was here a couple of weeks back but the venue was at some BBQ bar in Queens*really come on who wants to go to that*. Other than that Scott Brown Played at some shitty litle venue in the East Village and all of the kids that were there, were sitting in the back smoking. This city needs better promotion and better DJs. Its sad that the scene in this city SUCKS

dude we all love hardcore and all
and like the hardcore scene isn't like massive or anything but that doesn't mean the rave scene in general suxs. cos like yeah i loooovee hardcore, all em euphoric bouncy beats and wot not but i really couldn't be bothered with it at raves. gotta have it hard nd absolutely mental. and like there ARE hardcore sets, atleast 1 or 2 at like every rave ( and year there are like 2 raves every weekend) and if u been to em, you'd know which local dj's spins them the hardcore tunes.
how old r uu

im 21, but really... i hear that half the time the headliners dont even show up. I dislike hardcore and terrorcore, and all that shit that the New york rave scene is. I love happy hardcore and that is really all i would want to hear if i went to a party. I would rather save it up and go party in Canada where they really know how to do it!

who cares where the venue is? you should be happy the party didn't close =P
if you don't like it, why don't you quit moaning and start helping out with the promotions & the throwing of parties?
you should be happy that people will even listen to music above 170 bpm in your state/city =P

i absolutely love people who complain that this scene is proper shit and we need more this and that and how come blah blah blah.
well yeah, i wish there was more happy hardcore too (maybe not really XP) but i'm not going to be a snob about it and not go to a rave just because there won't be happy hadrcore throughout the night.
and zane just because there aren't u.k. headliners or u.s. hardcore artists at these raves, doesn't mean the hardcore isn't good.
it's all the same tunes you know.

sorry i wasnt bitching, as i said i went to 2 parties, they were crap, so i am not going to continue to go if i am not satisfied with what i experienced. Also i am not going to throw parties cause i do not have the time nor the money. I would go if i knew i was going to be able to hear some HHC and not get jaded on by the people that go every weekend.

tell promoters these things and usually you can change some of the stuff going on
