So any free/affordable recording programs out there for just simple mixing? Really don't wanna pay $300, i find it a rip off.
I've tried audacity and it doesnt run well
any ideas?

are you just wanting to record stuff?
there's stuff like the sound forge audio studio for ~$70
fyi, a good rule of thumb is if it's cheap/free it's usually not good =P
