I'm sure this might have been mentioned before but i'm going for Jungle coz of its faster breabeats and of corse the ragga lyrics! Drum and Bass seemes slower but not bad all the same! Still i'm into Hardcore. As I type this i'm listeing to Sharkey's mix Bonkers 12 but like a bit of jungle on the side!

I prefer jungle, I find it more fun and intersting than DnB. The breaks are messy and all over which is how I like them.

Modern DnB is actually faster than the original jungle stuff.

Breakbeats are phat in general, i cant believe i was such a stupid kid and thought they were all shite until a couple years ago.

Breakcore, breakbeat hardcore, oldschool, jungle, drum n bass and breaks are all amazing, cant say i enjoy the dnb raves that much but the music is brilliant.

I can see what you mean about modern dnb not been as good as jungle, in general i prefer older music to do with the equipment they were using.

But a lot of modern dnb is still very good dancefloor music, has really chunky beats and sounds excellent coming out a big system.

Old skool ahd some good breaks in it but I always go with with the mid 1990s kickdrum. I like breakbeat in Freeform (along with the hard drum beats) I makes music sound more hardcore and under ground. We don't really hear breakbeat in the charts

loved the old skool jugnle of course and the ambient side in the early 90's was a great come down at the end of a good night!
