Most of it is basically slow UK Hardcore, very cheesy but some tracks are not too bad.

that tunes pretty cool, i think a lot of the vocally stuff the scouse dj's play is better than any of the cheesy hardcore coming out now.

The donk and sample stuff's not my thing it always sounds really stupid, love the old italian style that gets played though.

its basically fun music for when you've had a load of stellas not really "rave" music, neithers uk hardcore though and i agree with jamie apart from the speed there basically the same thing.

fair play i did go over the top there, there is still good stuff gets played you just hardly hear it at raves unless you no the right parties.

freeform, breaks, gabber etc your probs lucky to get 2 sets at big raves now, there's a bit of hard n bouncy stuff but mostly what gets played doesnt have what i'd call a "rave" sound.

Yeah I know what you mean mate. I have noticed there has been more and more Freeform/Hard stuff/Breaks only parties popping up lately though which is great, looks like there slowly getting a bit more recognition.

Are scouse parties fairly big up north then? It certainly aint considered rave music down here it only gets played in pubs and clubs.

aye mate i really hope to see more parties specialising in the more innovative sides of hardcore, if theres a demand for it then it will be done and i think the more the mainstream gets bigger the more it'll help the other styles aswell.

scouse house is massive in the north west, they may be clubs but things like wigan pier and maximes are basically the raves for that area. Most "raves" are just in clubs anyway so i dont see any difference.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVFpcFOyTIY&search=pier theres a vid to check it out

What makes the video even more interesting is that I don't have any sound on this computer... It looks exactly the same as a big hardcore party. Looks like your clubs are a bit more lively than ones down here heh. The clubs round here are full up with people who are too cool to dance, stuck up slappers & really camp people & (joking aside) thats what makes them different to raves :)
