k im debating gettin a midi keyboard thing is.....

if i got the keyboard could i just plug it in and play my heart out on reason?

or do i need some sort of midi keyboard thingy in pc for keyboard ot connect to?

help would be apreciated cos i wanna go buy now:(

so if u havent understood wot i just said i basicly mean can i get amidi keyboard and plug it in a usb or microphone slot on pc or do i need some sort of midi card for keyboard ot plug into to play on pc
