hi,
i just got fruity loops 5, after listerning to bulbys i remember which is the best song i have heard, absolutly love it, i want to try and have a go at hardcore remixing myself,
i have never used the program before, and looks very hard, i had a quick mess about with it but could someone give me some pointers or link to tuturials?
also cant up import mp3s into fruity loops as i dont see an aoption there to do it?

Glad you liked my track : ). Do you have any questions in particular? Anything more specific? I can help you out best I can.
To get an MP3 into fruity you would need to go into the program folder in your hard drive, go into data, then patches, then packs and drop it into a folder there, now when you open up the program it will be available from the list in the browser in the left in whichever section you dropped it in. By the way you say hardcore remixing... you know that you have purchased a production program yes, and that it is used for making track from scratch? Even when doing a remix you will have nothing but a midi file and/or an acapella and nothing else, the rest is up to you ; ) Good luck with it man hope to hear some tracks soon.

Well you just have to register your copy of FL5 you can get access to a wicked forum where there are tutorials written by other users and FL programmers. Plus you get free updates for life and patches to fix bugs.
Best thing I ever did.

i dont want to hog your topic jjcool but as this is fl 5 i have a Q. Is there anyway of extracting the words from the music or is it illegal?
i cant give you much input soz coz im a complete turd at it with a aload of appauling songs

As far as I know there is nothing in fruity that can do this but I believe you can get programs that will do it. From what I've heard they don't give very good results and it's very, very difficult to get a clean separation. As for the legalities of it, get caught making money using it in a remix and expect to be sued.
JJcool - Ill try and put something together for you next time I have some spare time : ). Also yes FL forums would be a good place to get info though I doubt many (if any) people on there will know what hardcore is ; )

We if you're going to do a remix with the risk of getting sued, do what many breakcore artist do, get is pressed on record as a white label and distribute it from a post box under a fake name. It’s up to you how you produce it, but you want to produce it in a way people know it is you but have now way to prove it.
