Hello everyone! I know what you're thinking... "Bloody hell not another one of these posts about MP3 vs Vinyl"...

Don't worry, I'm just here to ask a question about CDJ's!!!

Has anyone used the "Gemini CFX30"???

I want to become a part pf teh new generation, don't wanna get left behind but I can't afford a Pioneer CDJ1000 so have been looking for a cheaper, temporary, alternative till I have some spare cash to blow on a CDJ1000.

http://www.djkit.co.uk/acatalog/Gemini_CFX30_CD_Player.html

Anyone with any help or advice then please shar as it will be apprciated a great deal!

Cheers!

//Nathan D

I have had some experience with Gemini products before, and have regretted it every time. Maybe the quality has improved over the last few years?

Why not look into on of the less expensive pioneer models until you can get the 1000's?

I did think about that but that particular model of Gemini CDJ looks pretty feature packed.

Usually the best way to find out is to use teh equipment but with no background knowledge with CDJ's it's be pointless for me to bother.

i had a long hard think before, and realised i went through the same decision process as this when i first got my decks. i think its best off saving for something that will last and wont need to be replaced. its going to be cheaper in the long run, you will just have to wait a bit longer to get it

You have to remember that lots of feature's don't necessarily make it a good deck. personally I would steer well clear of any Gemini decks.

i know that, the reason i wanted the featues was as a learning curve. with the features i can get to learn them ready for when i can afford the bad boy cdj1000's.

i won't have them for ages if i try, i gotta get driving which is gonna cost me loads. i have to pay £70 a week to live at home so i'm always skint!!!

maybe oneday!!!

its harsh that like! you would think, with the government keeping all these foreigners in the country for free, and giving them money to live off.. that they would pay someone who was born here

yup.... you would have thought so but instead that rob us off the money and hand it out to them

it actually works out cheaper to rent my own place with other people. stupid really but that seems to be the way everything is in this country thesedays lol.
