Went to the Tidy Boys big night out on Friday. Whilst it was really good I don't buy into this god like status that has built up around them. I was wondering what others thought of them?

I think they're great at what they do.
They're quite rightly legends within the Hard house scene.
And despite their slightly embarrassing early musical careers they've done well to build up a strong following.

I liked their mixes on the Hard house cd they did in 2001 with Lisa Pin Up!
love their mixes of 'Birds' and 'Till tears do us part'
Funny how they think God influences their style of music innit?

hard house wouldnt be what it is today if it werent for the tidy boys, they put on the best events, catering for nearly all tastes, (hard)trance, hard house and hardcore. and they have the likes of farley and glazby playing total filth for the hardest ravers, absolute quality

I love the tidy boys, their mixes are never the same and i hear that the live show takes the cake.

Don't get me wrong I love the tidy boys - been to see them several times this year alone and am looking forward to seeing them again at Slammin BUT I can't get over the commercial empire that they have built up around them and the way the cyberkids worship them.
They must be a very clever couple of blokes that's all I can say as there are a lot of excellent hard dance dj's out there - Lab4, Lisa Lashes, BK, Billy Bunter etc. etc. but they don't seem to have built up the following that the Tidy Boys have.
Just my opinion I suppose.

The events tidy run are supreme i think people jus love them cos they've got so many good memories there, thats way i think of them anyway.
Tidy boys stage show is really impressive aswell they put a lot of effort into entertaining you when your at there events, think it'll be hard to find a venue as good as magna though need to see.

i agree baldo, magna was a quality venue, did you go to the 10th birthday, our costumes scared a lot of people, purple grim reeper things, funny as

Of who I've seen live and heard I think the tidy boys are defo in the top 5 for been what you want (well i do anyways) from a DJ(s) that get paid a lot for an hrs set.
They pump up the crowd up by their music and with the stuff they do behind the decks, as in pissing about with each other lol. And with their musi they play about with so much stuff that you wouldn't expect to heard at an event (top of my head I can remember that they have played A-Team theme tune, the tune from Coca-Cola advert, Eastenders lol).
Plus they have also done some cracking remixes :D

Love 'em but was very disappointed with tidy euphoria. I was much more impressed with things like heavens cry - till tears do us part, bits and pieces and blow ya load.
