Would have loved a Bassline to come in at 22seconds.
You're definately going in the right direction now.
imo, don't do what we've all done and start another tune, finish this one.
It's worth it.
....and why hasn't anyone else listened and commented?

yeah mate definately bassline....it builds really well at the beginning..
and without a bassline after it, the track kinda loses pace

yeah whacked a bassline in there, i dunno about the sound of it tho, let me know what you think of the bassline... coz i think it sounds ok but not just quite right, neways get back to me

The bassline is perfect, but personally i'm a little unsure of the vocals. THey kinda feel outa place, but that could also be the crappy internet connection i got at school. will listen to again once i get home :D

Sounds like you've got the Bass on the beat.
Move it to the half beat and then the track will 'pump'.
I think Priest's point about the vocals is that they're out of key.
Try pitching them so that they're in tune.
Still like the track though. Keep at it.

It's definately getting there mate, have you sped it up? It sounds too fast. Not wanting to tell you what speed to make your tunes but for the sort of track your going for try it around 175bpm. Next i'd say it needs a stronger kick you really want it to thud and you want the bass deeper and wobier (yes that is a made up word) bit of eq'ing should sort that, also the melody could do with some fx on it, good work so far mate :)

Exactly what bulby g said but it is definately better.
Do you know how to alter the tuning/pitch of the female vocals?
That will make a huge difference to the overall feel of the track.

nah i have NO idea how to alter the pitch... like it was placed in a piano roll - i use fl btw, and i raised it to a higher pitch but it didnt seem to make much of a difference, is there something else i should do that will alter it to a greater effect? And also, just for those of you following the progression of this track, ive uploaded a new version of the track, with a much heavier kick, i find it hard to tell whether a kick is strong or not coz i have a sub attatched to my computer but i can hear this kick really banging (in my opinion) even when i have my headphones in, so let me know what you think, same link.
I also tried to timestretch it to a degree but the vocals still seem to be offbeat... is there anything i can do to stop that? maybe i need to upgrade to a better sequencer or something... help would be appreciated
