Wondering, is it legal to distribute such stuff?
btw the song name is Take On Me, not Take Me On.

No idea I don't think it is illegal there are loads of sites like accapellas for you etc distributing them. I would happily pay for a download I’m just messing around with a remix for fun not going to do anything with it. Cheers for pointing out my error have edited it don't know how I got that wrong TBH.

Its not legal, but neither is using it in a song without permission.... hey ho lol *blush* Alot of artists/labels leak the pellas out though on the principle that they will get used in a chart busting song and make the song/artist more popular as people search for the original. Take Eminem's "Stan"..... who had heard of Dido before that?
I've never seen a "Take On Me" pella, or indeed any Ah Ha pella...... nothing stopping you re-recording the vocals yourself though! all of which is 100% legal. It is obligatory to grow yourself an 80s style mullet before recording though.

Cheers for clearing up the legality's. Think ill take your advice and re-record it might even change the lyrics but keep the pattern of the original vocals, i'll probably make a right mess of it but you gotta learn ay.
Best get started on that mullet it will probably be finished by the time I get a vocal im happy with.
