i used to like slipknot several years back, when i was angry all the time but im just not that angry anymore...still got there cds, yes the first one was the best, eyeless was my favorite track. Now i can no longer listen to them, ive gone off rock completly and like music that makes me happy rather than angry..hardcore all the way

I really liked there first album.but just lke system of a down I didnt really like anything after that.seem um live ,good show.

Same man, i listened to rap and garage for ages then grew out of it, to be honest i just dont like music that represents sh*t like that anymore, it aint needed, i dont dissagree with the music so much just what it represents.

I think there pretty good but i find myself listening to Rise Against more for some reason but i didnt like what slipknot had to offer on the third album after corey was in stonesour.

I ****ing hate slipknot and all Liquid/Nu Metal bands. There annoying not cool, unorigional, poppy, and are fueling goths and their littler temper tantrum. Im more down for ska core (leftover crack), southern punk (Against Me!), old Emo (sunny day real estate, texas is the reason etc.), and indie (Iron & Wine).
hardcore and screamo are even better that liquid metal crap
and sry guys but the best band ever is Guns N' Roses or maybe E.L.O.

i only like about 2 songs by slipknot 'duality' and 'wait and bleed' probbably because they are perhaps *calmer* than the rest of their stuff! im more in2 the old stuff softer rock eg. oasis, babyshambles, the libertines...

since when is nu metal something for goths?
and most goths i've come across don't throw tantrum, they're above that.
