I've been producing since I was 11. First used a MIDI program, moved up to ModPlug Tracker, and for 4 years have been using Fruityloops. My tunes are still shit, though.

Sakura, were your tune's made on Cubasse or another program??
Because i have tryed to use cubasse for hardcore and its damn difficult.

Nah, I'm using FL Studio with loads of VST's/VSTi's, Acid Pro 4, Soundforge 5.
I'm gonna get Cubase, but only when I've got the time to sit down & learn it properly.

I produced for the longest time, made one really (IMO) wicked choon and then seemed to lose all the skill I'd developed. Got discouraged and haven't made anything new in the longest while.

I Still Have'nt found a way to get a good distorted/plain Hardcore Kickdrum sound in Cubase.
I have been finding it quite difficult in general to make Hardcore in cubase.
(Even though i'm learning it in Music Tech at College)
Is it just me or is cubase not "Happy Hardcore Freindly"
Any Ideas??

great stuff too mustapha. One comment tho... i noticed a few tracks seemed like they were bringing in/out drums sections in a shorter than 8 bar phase... is this on purpose? ... in terms of dj'ing im used to a tracks beat going

it seemed like you were changing on the 4th bar... sorry is this the right term? i never did music at school! Sometimes tracks will slightly change on the 4th bar but not usually very pronounced. Sorry if i sound negative, its just what i thought at the time :)

I started about a year ago when I got reason, Im now learning cubase and rewire reason into it, which give's me loads of stuff to play with. My tune's are still shit though, but for how long Ive been doing it, I think im making good progress. Ive also started learing about music theory from the net and books from the library, and its helping me loads.
Id like to do a collab with someone over the net using reason if anyone is interested.
