ok....what is everyone's top 3 (not necessarily in order) most treasured vinyls, and why?? <--they don't necessarily have to be hardcore.
mine are
1. goldie feat. diane charlamagne - inner city life (nookie & roni size remixes) metalheadz on FFRR - always loved this tune, and was chuffed to pick it up in excellent condition vinyl & sleeve
2. SL2 - on a ragga tip/bassquake, XL records, first vinyl - everyone remembers their first vinyl - and this is one of my favourite old skool tunes as well - bit of a good combination really!
3. dj seduction - hardcore heaven (hardcore mix & heaven mix), you and me. what a tune, 2 great remixes - again excellent condition, and found in a car boot sale for £3. is that a baragin or what? original vinyl, original sleeve with cartoon character on it, etc. great tune.

Well i just started buying vinyl a few months ago but the most treasured that i have would probably be my copy of Toy Town and O' Fortuna.
Man i would kill to find a copy of Set Me Free by N-Trance. I have been looking everywhere and haven't had any luck finding it. That is probably one of my fave old school tracks and would love to own it.

does anyone on here actually have one of the original 92 white-label copies of n-trance set you free? cos if you have, there were only 500 made, and at the time they were being sold for up to £80 each.
i think i might also have to put the prodigy - charly up in my treasured vinys since that is a great tune, so is your love (b side), plus it's pretty rare.

mmm, was that released on ram adam ?
cos i'm pretty sure that the ones released on ram were:
RAMM4 - the touch &
valley of the shadows
RAMM4R - the touch part 2 &
valley of the shadows
(long dark remix)
RAMM16 - valley of the shadows 96 &
valley of the shadows (original)
RAMM16R-valley of the shadows remix
truly one remix
i've personally got 16R, which can be bought everywhere at the moment as its still in press. only a coupla years old, but still wicked.

Aha! Adam made a label mistake on one of his favorite records! Sun Always Shines is Hecttech 9 not 7 (wanting to get high)! Hehe. Just playin. Sun always shines is some proper choonage. How hard is it to come by?(or how much would it go for on ebay, that should be the new rating of rarity) Just had a listen and the breaks and vocals are ace. Anyways since I've only been buying vinyl for basically a week now, I'd have to say my top 3 that are on their way are DJ Slam - Till We Meet Again (unaware collective), Sy & Demo - Stay With Me (vital elements 10), maybe a tie for the third with the Here I Am remixes (JAL Premium 4) and the Ham mix of Leaving the World Behind (Impact 67)cause they both melt me. I have to sneak in Lost Generation too cause if the store owner isn't a complete flake and hasn't updated his webpage in a year then I just ordered a white label of it for 5.5 lbs (score! or just getting my hopes up). Hopefully I can add rush hour (VG mix), kick your legs in the air, and tears run cold to the collection soon. If I had copies of SL2 - DJ's Take Control (XLT24) and Orca - 4am (on Luckyspin Recs) I'd sure as hell treasure those. Both of them have secure spots on the list of top 10 best old skool records as far as I'm concerned, and I've downloaded nearly every old skool breakbeat song listed on bassquake. (Not to mention hearing all the ripped old skool riffs in hhc) Peace
