I'm not sure - it all depends on their motivation doesn't it?

If people are coming back only because there's money to be made now the scene is strong again that would be a problem for me.

Fair enough, DJ's/Producers need to pay the bills and if that meant going into other genres that were stronger that's fine.
But to desert Hardcore altogether then return only to make a fast buck before pissing off again is totally wrong in my opinion.

There are plenty of people i'd like to see back in the scene but it would be easy to be suspicious of their intentions if they suddenly said they were returning now the scene is thriving. Some have good reasons for having been away but there are plenty who just left hardcore before they got dragged down with it - nothing to be condemned for really but if they were serious about the future of hardcore music they'd have at least stayed around, even if in the background.

There are more than enough up and coming producers (who deserve recognition and not to be overshadowed by "so and so is back") and old favourites out there to take the scene to the next level.

Yeah like DMS said, as for their reasons for coming back ,As long as when/if hardcore plummets again ,that they stay with hardcore and dont **** off then im happy , The thing with all the up and comings is ok i think ,People coming back wont affect that ,Its better because the scene will grow faster and bigger and better imo......Its all good .

if everyone starts coming back into the scene then where's the room for the up and comers?

fair enough the returners gonna have some ready made material, and it's all going to be different styles - all trying something new and sounding fresh. and this can be good for the raves, more tunes to listen to and buy = more money in the scene.

but there's a cost as well, the up and coming dj's will get pushed aside to make room for the names everyone's missed for the past few years. and that's anything but good

Don't worry. As soon as hardcore's popularity dips a little bit they'll all disappear again.

Going to be akward and disagree! Dont think it can be a bad thing everyone coming back to hardcore. You can only really play what people want to listen to and to be fair hardcore had lost its way a bit in the late 90's. They are all respected DJ's who have made good tunes in the past so you'd think they can bring something fresh and exciting to the scene.

I posted its great due to the fact that, even thu they might be coming back to make money or just for the rush or for whatever reason
they are putting out high quality hardcore
Up and comers will still come out and I dont think there scared of a old producer taking there spot.

So bring it on and enjoy the flood of songs while we can, even if its mostly gabber it seems

well I, I will, I will hardcore

Ok i guess in some scense that it would be good to have happyhardcore making a come back...
But it could also screw it up all together i no happyhardcore as the clasic oldies in techno and lovin it...
But if you start putting new mixes in youd find it isnt the same anymore

its great that some of the old names are coming back... provided that they are doing it for the right reasons and understand today's rave scene!
