I think its great as long as the tunes are good and the artists arent just jumping on the bandwagon cause its doing well and as soon as there is a small decline in they F*uck off.

It seems like most people think the Hardcore scene went away or something!!

It didn't, just look at Holland - DJ's and bands are thriving, the scene never disappeared it just went back to it's roots: Underground.

It got harder & more aggressive to keep the people who really matter interested.

The best thing about the whole Hardcore movement was the fact that is was non-commercial, and proud of it.

Just take a look at the charts from the last few years and you'll see that music in general has become weak, there are no original areas of music, just lots of cover versions & emulations.

Hardcore has something that 'Pop' music doesn't, it has character and it's only taken 10 years for most people to realize this.
N
ow we are coming to the point where after every other genre of music has been sucked dry that Hardcore is next up. We can't let that happen.

We need acts like Scott Brown, Hixxy & Sy to make the tunes so that new up & coming artists can aspire to be just as good, even possibly better, so that the scene can evolve. We need the scene to stay ahead of the Pete Waterman & Simon Cowell's (bastards that they are) of this world, simply to survive.

I think the scene is strong enough.

Just my thoughts anyway.
