Why a 16GB usb drive? just for the extra 200 mixes? I hope the price isnt bloated because of that. (especially since I have no care in the world of mixes)

I'm getting the CD package for sure. Though with it being Klubfiller & Mike, I'm sure it's going to be a lot of the 160 bpm material.

For me cd 1 will be a quick scan through but highly likely it wont be to my taste.. cd 2 you are probaly right but i think klubfiller produces above 160 so his half of the mix might be faster and cd 3 will be a mystery. I dont no why the tracklist has not landed yet as on the website it shows a picture of the album with the discs printed so im asuming its already mixed.

They are almost certainly digital mock-ups, easy as anything to make these days.
But since they are shipping December, they are likely at least in production. Chances are they will be pressing a tiny fraction of the numbers produced back in the day, and CDs can be manufactured fairly quickly. You're right though, tracklist would be handy - though honestly I'm unlikely to recognise many of the artists, let alone the music on there.

This compilation is called Bonkers: The Annual. It's an off shoot project from the Bonkers record label. It's not a continuation of the Bonkers series.

Now that's not true. Considering Sharkey's own tag-line "Bonkers is Back", he's definely trying to get people to buy it based on the Bonkers name.
And to be honest, whether you like that or not, he's always owned the Bonkers name, so he has all the rights to do it.

I might get it but I suspect that it will be mostly filled with stuff such as what we heard in the preview video and with less emphasis on UK hardcore and freeform.

I was teetering on purchasing, but the mixes don't look super original and I don't think I want a Klubfiller-exclusive tribute mix. A Bonkers legacy mix isn't what the market is after, given most of the demand for new Bonkers albums comes from having them as a platform to discover new music. The CD1 mix seems to the best source of new music, but one CD isn't great value.
To me, it doesn't push the needle. I'm keen to know if I'm wrong.
But I hope it's the start of something that pushes Hardcore on. If this is a quick money spin off the Bonkers brand, it'll be a massive shame.

According to his YouTube post, he says the original series is on it's way back too with dj Hixxy & React involved.

To be fair, there's some serious considerations here that cannot be underestimated:
Sharkey is a massive C**T who owes me and anyone else who bought the sharkey completionist edition quite a lot of music.
To be fair, Mike whatever his name is these days doesn't interest me at all. Klubfiller can be massively hit and miss.
Rob IYFs music has been beyond horrendous for a while. Pig Style was great but then downhill from there.
Not really bothered with mixed albums anymore to be fair, I want DJ friendly.
CD3 best of bonkers, didn't we have a whole compilation for that already?
I think Rob IYF is good, highly creative producer and a very good melody writer. Probably better than 99% in the Hardcore Scene these days.
Klubfiller is basically a commercial Hardcore dj. Sounds like what Clubland Extreme would sound like these days and has no trouble getting crowds on dancefloors with his mainstream sound... played internationally too.
So I get why Sharkey would choose them for Bonkers.
