Do you mean for new people to get a look in? Don't agree with this as there have been some new artists that have got a look in eg. from the new Bonkers Annual compilation. I didn't get this album but have heard some tracks from the new artists.
I don't agree with what you say about if UK hardcore makes a comeback, it's because of the old guard being shuffled out of the way. They are still an important part of UK hardcore.
Hopefully this year we will see an increased number of tracks released from the various labels. Looks like could be a busy year for the rebooted Bonkers label with releases.

Any more comments about the Bonkers Annual compilation and the limited edition release with bonus tracks & mixes, for those that got that? I didn't get the compilation myself.

Garbage! I bought it with high hopes but 2 discs of shite and a 3rd with songs I have already got but in a different order
USB equally garbage.
Hardcore as I knew and loved it is gone, the current stuff is awful and I will have to move on and find something else.
The last listenable 'new' stuff was Al Storm on HU's Hardcore Heaven 4

That's what I was expecting. I've heard a good number of the tracks from CD1, Rob IYF & Sharkey's mix and haven't been impressed with 90% of what I've heard.
HU's Hardcore Heaven 5 was fairly good also from what I remember.

I should give HH5 another go. HH4 grabbed me from the get-go and I still really enjoy it, Didn't get that from 5 but I should give it a go...

Only liked a few tracks from CD1 but if you listen to it as tho its just a harder styles cd then you will understand, it turns a bit more hardcore towards the end but i have to be in a certain mood for the first half of it! CD2 was ok in moderation! Some good vocals in there but klubfillers style is very samey most of the time. You can almost predict his track arrangement about 4 tracks in lol drop---8 bars clap----8 bars hi hat. Im quite lazy when it comes to producing now due to time but i try and change it enough to keep it a little diffrent. CD3 Was just expected to be good!
HH5 was a decent album and id go even as far as saying HH6 was good if you just time stretch jakkas and macks wolf mix a bit. Thered no question they are good at what they do!

Now that's not true. Considering Sharkey's own tag-line "Bonkers is Back", he's definely trying to get people to buy it based on the Bonkers name.
And to be honest, whether you like that or not, he's always owned the Bonkers name, so he has all the rights to do it.
Andy Whitby is reviving bonkers this time around

Some of you have probably heard Andy Whitby Bounce remix of Shining Down. A bit surprising that a bounce track has been released on Bonkers. I'm aware when the label relaunched they are releasing a number of different hard dance genres but didn't think Bounce would have been one of them. I don't think bounce would have been associated with UK hardcore in the past.
From the relaunch of the label, it does seem they (Sharkey and others involved with the label) are pushing the harder styles of hard dance and hardcore. Seemed to be the case from the early releases on the label including Sound of Silence - Joey Riot & Marc Smith. I don't think the UK hardcore sound has been pushed on the label as much as it should be. UK Hardcore releases that there have been, have sounded ok but nothing amazing.

All the traditional bonkers producers are all old and don't really produce and what they do produce is shite. Sadly the younger crowd they associate with don't even understand what UK or happy hardcore is so it was never going to be any good.
