I feel like the J-core world has been overwhelmed by this light and fluffy sound. I haven't scrolled through Soundcloud in a while, but I wonder if there are still producers who make hard-hitting stuff like Blue Sky from the first Hardcore Syndrome. I also think all the anime remixes are part of what killed my initial boner for J-core.
Sorry for the negative comment. I still think it's great that people are putting out albums, even if I don't like the sound.

Obviously respect that's how you feel about the sound, but I don't really get how Blue Sky is 'hard-hitting'? Lovely track of course but I'd say it's pretty light and fluffy and there's definitely other tracks that would fit that description much better. I really think you should look back over the album especially for tracks like TamolarM's because I do think that's the sound you're after! Or even the twist Aki gave to the song he remixed might have the vibes you're looking for if you can deal with the vocals haha.
Other than that, I do think you should check out the CD we released a few years ago called Tempo Tantrum if you don't like anime songs. :)

if you ask me, all I ever care when it comes to J-core, is that Sharpnel returns back with some more frenchcore styles anime remixes
