soundcloud, youtube etc use watermarking and details labels give them or add to some global database

if any of the watermark is picked up, the audio will be marked as copyrighted
soundcloud sucks anyway, your better off with youtube, use http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/ to make audio into a mp4 and select a picture or a spectrum stickman type preset

the problem with this story is that the "remix" was NOT silent, but contained copyrighted material. It was a PR stunt

and the original piece was a never silence either. It was just a recording of performers who... well did nothing but breath,
