been into this kind of music since 96 maybe earlier,i remember watching a fantazia video as a kid since then iv been hooked
been to a many raves from 2002 to 2009 vibealite ,uproar ,hardcore heaven ,htid , raverbaby, ravers reunited
dj'ed on the internet for a short wile too with a slots on basement and level-1 radio
now days i focus on production, no full tracks mainly just experimentation
my support for the scene dwindled the last few years everything sounded the same but im very happy with the new styles about at the minute its a breath of fresh air

Hello everyone!
My name is Quinton, from Illinois, USA.
The first DJ I heard was DJ Bluecore back in 2008 or so, and I'm just now really getting into the hardcore genre. I was scouring the web for free Bluecore tunes when I remembered this site and thought it would be a good way to broaden my hardcore scope.
I've downloaded a couple free mixes from this site over the past couple days and I'm not really sure which DJs are highly recommended/popular/etc so all suggestions for new DJs and genres are very welcome!

Bluecore is a really good DJ in my opinion, he has a liveshow on the radio here every Wednesday at 1pm. He also adds mixes to his site from time to time which you can check out here: http://djbluecore.com/downloads.html

I found his site last week some time and downloaded everything I could from his free downloads. And every time he has a live show I'm in class :(

Pretty good summary of, how I found back to Hardcore as well, although my sources have been DJ Ravine and DJ Cotts and I was aware of Happy Hardcore back in the 90s.
You might check them out as well, because they offer such a big variety of the Hardcore genre, just like Bluecore does.

A brief RE-introduction:
Hi, I'm Jake. I've been on this site for 4-5 years now, but haven't been a regular poster since 2008-2009 and therefore I feel it might be time for a re-introduction. On top of that, last I posted I was 14 or 15 and I have changed a fair bit since then, so all the more reason to re-introduce myself.
So, to sum it all up: I'm Jake Vaughan, I'm from Redditch, Worcestershire but I've grown up in Brussels, Belgium, though I'm currently living in Antwerp. I'm 18 years old and have been a die-hard fan of hardcore since I was a child. My favourite artists are SynthWulf and Kev Willow.
When it comes to other music, I'm an absolute sucker for The Streets, as well as the Manic Street Preachers. I also like Pulp, Oasis and various other mid-nineties groups. I also listen to a lot of Belgian French language rap, such as Convok, Scylla and Gandhi (look them up, they're ****ing great!).
I used to DJ, but realised I couldn't hack it around the age of 15 so now I'm just a plain old raver =P
If I had to pick out a favourite tune, I'd say it was DJ SynthWulf - Syndrome of Sanctimony. I'll post a link to that below the post.

FAVOURITE DJs/MCs: For Hardcore? Brisk is probably my all time fave. For outside of hardcore but within the tempo range? Probably Endemic, funny as ****. Fave MC is Smythy or Macca.
FAVOURITE SONGWRITERS/PRODUCERS: (Some) Gammer, A.B., Endemic, Douglas, Transcend, Brisk & Ham.... etc... tbf most of those are Freeform producers.
ARE YOU: (new to hhc/raver/dj/mc) Established up and coming Freeform DJ and general badass.
