Looks neat, but what is it with so many events here in the US being 18+? Or is it that way everywhere?

There always ends up with a venue that serves alcohol

Is that really an issue though? That's what ID checking is for; they know who can drink and who can't. Almost every restaurant I go into serves alcohol, but underage people are let in just fine. Also, 18+ doesn't help the alcohol issue when the drinking age is 21.
