i've just ordered a capture card that will arrive tomorrow and will start doing playthroughs of my favorite games from the good old PS1 & 2 years along with some PS3 games (will probably start off with the Gran Turismo series since that's my all time fav game since i've just ordered GT 1,2,3 & 4 and already have 5 & 6)
i'm wondering if any of you can list some games that you think i might enjoy playing from all 3 generations and hopefully i can gain a few subs from the forum aswell :)
i should be up and running properly in the next few months once i have everything i need (PS2 console, editing software ect)

not really just want to play a lot of game from my childhood i never really got to play will have to check out the games you've listed they will be on my to buy list as i plan on collecting lots of games (want to turn my bedroom into a gaming hub lol)
i love the crash bandicoot games (3 being my fav) will defo be picking those up at some point
this could turn out to be a lot of fun will probably have to buy a new external hard disk just for this

done a quick test to see what it's like...the video quality isn't great but it's not terrible either and i can't really complain as i got it 2nd hand for 30 quid (well 40 if you include the p&p) beats paying 100+ for an elgato although i probably will end up buying one maybe next year but this is good enough for now the audio is a little sketchy i'll have to buy sony vegas or something to try and make the quality better

well i have a little problem atm lol the capture card i bought can capture ps3 gameplay but when i put in a ps1 game the screen goes all ****ed up (i get audio but the screen is blank) so i'm having to use my old EZ-Cap usb device to capture ps1 gameplay only downfall is the screen size is only 4:3 you can choose 16:9 but it doesn't make a difference :(
is there any software i can use to stretch the screen into 16:9?

Ridge Racer series, Ridge Racer Revolution was my personal favourite of the lot.

Intelligent Qube
The Net Yaroze compilations that came free with the official magazines.
Die Hard Trilogy
Syphon Filter
TOCA Touring Cars
Colin McRae Rally
Time Crisis
Crash Bandicoot
The first Tomb Raiders
Driver
Gran Turismo
Worms
Silent Hill
Smash Cour Tennis 2
Metal Gear Solid
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Theme Park/Hospital
Destruction Derby, Soul Blade, Doom, Dino Crisis, Cool Boarders, Everybodies Golf, Dance Dance Revolution, Wipeout 2097,Ace Combat 2, Porsche Challenge were fun for a while too.
Christ this has brought some memories back. I remember a few of these seemed impossibly good at the time. Gran Turismo and Resident Evil pretty much were as realistic as could be. Try playing them now on a high definition telly.
