So I create an article and before I even have a chance to create sources BANG I have a notice for speedy deletion! Just as I make a small edit the article is on its last warning and just as im about to finish, hey its gone! What a load of sheet!
I have contacted the guy who deleted it, a 'Wikiepdian' who seems to know what is good and what is not and thus these boys now run Wikipedia. A few years back I saw loads of interesting stuff on there but now it is so controlled I find it as useful as a skate board on a road of nails!
Who remembers the good old Hardcore on Wikipedia? All tosh now!
Rant over

Checked all that, no previous article. The user who stated it said that it was made up. I have now been blocked for having a little fun and 'wasting their time like they wasted mine'

There was a hardcore Wiki, you know.
Chris shut it down because nobody would bother to go on it or help.

No point making a site if no one goes on it

I understand that there are rules and such but I feel that Wikipedia allows much less freedom than it could as the idea was 'anyone could create an article and edit it' but now it seems that some users are free to delete other users articles as they wish which reduces the amount of freedom available. There is a difference between starting an innocent article which will later be expanded and creating an article out of hate and being offensive. I have lost interest in Wikipedia as it feel like it is being run by 'Oxford types' who have nothing better to do than monitor a site that lacks the depth that it used to have

do you have a copy of what exactly you were putting on there? Share it with us and we can see what they might have had a problem with it.

i have given up many many years ago. no matter if its a website, a blog, a forum, anything online is now controlled by folkz who would have no business in real life, using stupid rules to cover their incompetence.
its not worth the fight. that leaves me as a passive user/reader, internet is becoming much like television.

Wikipedia is useless, I wrote a bunch of stuff, all deleted. I gave sources and links but for whatever reason it was all deleted. I think the mods on there wont be happy until wikipedia is blank. They are all on a power trip and would rather delete something than actually check or wait to see if something is valid.
They need a vote system like discogs to see if something is correct or not.

So your the admin for a Happy Hardcore site and even your stuff gets deleted? But then to the Oxbridge types anything to do with the word 'rave' is vulgar which is why I find it less useful than it used to be. I done some sections on local history that survived but my article for one of the schools I used to go to has been vanished without trace, I couldn't really find any sources but then do you really have to provide a source for every tiny sentence?

It's pretty obvious that he made it up as he was typing it considering he hasn't shown us anything already. Look who it is we're talking about relative to his posts in the past 5ish years he's been on here.
