Sorry but there is one tape missing from this whole lot, I have marked it with stars. ****
Other than that, everything is fully complete, I even have the free CD's that come with the Accelerated Culture packs.
The total original RRP is over ?1,100 would take ?350 for the lot, although i am open to any sensible offers....
Would be willing to sell single tape packs for the right price but would love to sell as a job lot and will give a great deal to the buyer, as i need them all gone ASAP.
Regards
Tyrone

my guess is that there are so many of these online, youtube and mixtape sites that the demand for cassettes has petered out

You'd think so. But the average tape rip is so bad that most of the time they are no good to me.

I have boxes and boxes full of tapepacks, I had considered selling to make the space but as mentioned, tape rips are everywhere (not every one that I have sadly). Couldn't just 'give' them away, but selling them for anything substantial is just never gonna happen in this day and age.
If only I had the time to rip them all myself. Wouldn't be so bad getting rid then.

I'd be more likely to throw my tapepacks in a skip than try to sell them to be honest.
The market is appalling at present.

Are you waiting for it to become ironically cool to listen to cassette tapes? Like those arseholes who buy vinyl at the moment, not because they DJ or anything but just because "digital is so mainstream, man".
It could happen! Keep the faith!

My girlfriend inherited a car this year, and got rid of the old piece of junk. Along with the stereo. The new car belonged to her aunt who never replaced the stereo, so it's shitty radio or tapes. Perfect opportunity to dig out a few classic sets. Was blasting out a Scorpio and Producer whilst in Scarborough for a few days last month. Brilliant stuff.
The missus doesn't agree, like.

More chance of Mila Kunis and Holly Willoughby knocking on my door, announcing they're massive fans of mine and begging me for a threesome!
Funnily enough though, i do still have a couple of cassette players at home. Both them, and my tapepacks are covered in a layer of dust so thick i can barely make out what they are!
Copied my favourite sets to CD years ago, shame that the rest will probably end up going to waste though. I'd be happy to give them away to a good home.

I've known of a few guys buying tracks on vinyl that don't even have a turntable to play it on.
I also know a few guys into the hip-hop scene that still use tapes for the "old school feel". Which is fair enough, if you want authenticity what with the Technics and vinyl and that, but it is a bit silly I think - tape was the best we had back then, you'd probably have killed for a CD recorder back then. It's not like the difference between vinyl & CD decks where it's a totally different feel. Tapes were for recording and playing back.
I'm bored and a little tipsy, so this might have been a bit bollocks.
