Girls, I recorded a video on my phone at Sinistry on Saturday. It's of the epic build-up and monstrous drop in Unforgettable by jD-KiD. One of the single most powerful tracks I've heard live. Third time now. Stupendous.
Anyways, I degress. The music was obviously far too loud for the mic and it sounds pretty appalling. I'm not expecting miracles, but does anyone fancy having a go at improving it for me, if you've got the time? I'm guessing if you know what you're doing and you have the right software it wouldn't take that long, if anything's doable, that is? The clip is less than two minutes.
If anyone fancies having a bash, here it is (only 20MB).

Because of this I never use my phone to record anything, or even take pictures rarely.
I had the same happen to me at my 1st boat party last year. Left my hotel room completely forgetting to put back the SD card in my digital camera. The video wasn't too bad but the sound was just terrible, so sad.
Hope you can find someone to help you out.

Yeah, I have a mini HD camera that would be better, but it's hassle carrying it about. And I don't want to be recording loads and loads, which is what you might be tempted to do. I could barely bring myself to record this - I just wanted to go nuts and enjoy the rush. Glad I did, though. Even with the sound the way it is, if you can tough it out you get a really good appreciation of the vibe! It helps if you know the track, though - you can sort of follow it.

If you've got an mp3 of the track I can replace the sound on your vid with the mp3....?
or if there's a mix during the vid then replicate the mix and I can replace the sound with that. :)
edit
and maybe I can mix in some of the original sound so that the finished vid isn't too sterile?

Capital idea. Might be hard matching the pitches though!

If it's just one track that shouldn't be a problem.
If it's a mix I'm sure that Jay's skills include replicating the pitch of the mix to perfection....

Mate, that would be unbelieeeeevable if you could do that. If some of the crowd noise could be kept, that would be insane.
I'll PM you a link to the track. No mix in the vid. :-)
