Hey guys, me and Ozmium have just started up a YouTube channel to promote Happy Hardcore, UK Hardcore, Nightcore, Gabber, etc. It's called Hardcore Energy (Promotion) and we are hoping to get some more views and subscribers. We post songs almost every day and have already uploaded a few videos with artists like Ekkotekk, Ubercrow, and even S3RL!
All songs are uploaded with permission from the artist(s), and we are looking for some more music to upload as well! If you want your song uploaded on our channel you can shoot us a message and we will upload the ones that we like :3 (Note: We make absolutely no profit from the uploads, just doing it for the love of the music!)
YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/HardcoreEnergyPromo We also have a Facebook page where we post the videos as well as songs from other channels and things we find interesting or cool that relate to Happy Hardcore. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hardcore-Energy/451349424949965 Just trying to share our love of hardcore with the rest of the world :3

imho, if you consider Nightcore a subgenre instead of speeded up trance/hardcore, then you've already lost the idea...

Youtube is being shit right now. I'll check the tracks later. And I agree with Samination I don't label Nightcore as a subgenre/style of hardcore.

Anyways guys this is a really awesome opportunity to get your names out there. we want to build a really popular community. We want to bring hardcore to a wider audience and we want to give underground artists with talent a chance to shine.

It's doing okay, I guess. I get somewhere, and it varies significantly from month to month, about 5-10,000 downloads a month. Sure I'd like it to be more popular than it is, but I'm not really doing it because I want it to be huge. I just enjoy doing it, and I've made some decent friends through doing it. The site is a half-decent resource, now, actually.

Sounds interesting but I think the idea will fail:
1) Labels will claim although artists give their OK and after receiving enough claims you'll get banned! Even government organisations do claim to be the owner of the music. You must notice that a bunch of lawyers don't do anything but searching the net for music all day long.
2) Videos constantly get removed from your lists by the uploader and you'll don't get any hint which track it was to find an alternative link.
3) I'm with Samination, mentioning Nightcore is total crap. I'd prefer to be honest to the people and tell them which genre they are listening to. Spreading around the wrong name more and more will not help and of course 99% of Nightcore tracks are simple paced up copies of other tracks.
