Had to google that and yea, I'm a bit more than that lol
Odd about the S3 screen damage because I don't think I've ever seen anyone walk around with an S3 here with a damaged screen. I've seen shit tons of iphones with them lol. I guess maybe S3 users are quicker to get it repaired, all the while iphone users are happy to have their overrated and overpriced phones look like shit.

I've got the S3 and I've dropped it several times on concrete and wooden flooring and the screen is fine, not even a scratch. Unless you're dropping it from 5ft or more the screen won't take much damage, if any. The problems with iPhones is that they are just covered in glass and metal. I can see why people like them though, they do feel like a more premium device when held in your hand, and even to look at, just aren't very practical for everyday use.

definitely don't deny that the iPhones do have a really nice look to them. But it's such a waste of have a phone that advanced and at that cost and have it damage so easily. Really is a waste and I'd rather go more for durability than looks.

I hate AMOLED screens, horrible. Not seen the s4 in the flesh yet, so I can't comment, but people who rate the s3 and the note2's screen must be blind. Go for the HTC.

Funny you should mention this.
I ended up going with the Nexus 4. Quad core 1.5ghz processor, awesome gpu, 2 gb ram... i wont go through the whole spec sheet but it beat the iphone 5 and galaxy s3 in basically every test i could find, and it's only $350. Shows how much we're getting ripped off when it comes to phones.
But my main point is that it's glass on the front and back.
I'm just going to buy one of those cases that are wallets. No biggie.

The Nexus 4 looks like a bargain. It's an IPS screen too isn't it?
Just seen a S4 in the flesh, lad in work has one, I must admit it looks less cheap than the S3, it's a lovely light weight bit of kit. The faux carbon fibre stuff on the back ruins it though. Screen is still hideously over-saturated but it's the first pentile screen I've seen that doesn't look totally shit. There again, the default colour scheme is blue, which hides a lot of the AMOLED's failings. White pages are still very blue from anything other than straight on viewing angles.
