What a bloody fantastic programme this is.

Love the Palate Test round the best.

Watching this weeks episodes is just making me want to jump in the kitchen and go crazy.

Anyone else watching this series?

Please tell me you're joking. All these reality competition shows are a terrible form of entertainment and most of the time they are so set up.

Not going to lie I have seen my fair share of these types of shows, but trust me they are nothing to brag about. Except maybe The Amazing Race.

The American ones I've seen are unbearably shit. The English Masterchef (in case there are any others) is good watching as TV goes imo. I don't watch any TV now really, but when i have, and if i did; i consider it good. Although if you have absolutely no interest in food whatsoever apart from eating it then no it may not interest you much.

Proud Cheaters watcher here.

Well, okay, maybe not proud, and I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it but it's the height of trashy, palm-firmly-applied-to-face TV.

hahaha Cheaters! Is there a UK version of this now or is this the American version the two of you speak of?

They had a Spanish-channel version similar to it and it took place in my hometown of Houston. Man that shit was so fake haha but it was interesting to see the locations they picked for their filming. I also knew a couple of people in it too.

And I've seen clips from UK reality shows it's just as shit-fueled as the American ones. You more than likely don't notice it as much because it is your crap TV.

MasterChef isn't comparable to other food programmes (except maybe Man vs Food). I'm shocked that none of you are into it.

Enthralling television and I don't watch much TV to be honest. Suppose my interest in cooking helps.

Anyone remember this??

We already have an American version of Master Chef and it's the shame shit pretty much. Plus shows like Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares have already been around for years, not to mention those others on the food network here.

And of course I have an interest in food, but I'd rather spend my time eating it than watching about it lol.

Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares have nothing whatsoever to do with this though. The only thing they have in common is food.

Haha yes.

As i said. As TV goes Masterchef is good, i just don't watch TV anymore 99% of the time (100% of the time outside of sit-coms). A few years ago when i used to watch TV in bed before i went to sleep, they used to repeat Masterchef at about 2 am so used to always watch it then.

The missus loves it, i just think it's been done to death. Doesn't help that i think the 'experts' are a pair of wankers!

Bitchin' Kitchen is where it's at. She is NAUGHTY.

And yes, I appreciate that's probably a fake/enhanced Italian accent.

I miss good ol' Ainsley Harriott and his green peppers/red peppers...'Rattle those pots and pans'.

Now I tend to watch James Martin on Saturday Kitchen because he's a down to earth chef...
