No, you're right, we should stick to nothing but 4/4 kicks and an off bass with a trance lead and nothing else.....

I think he might just be referring to the general less-happy vibe of the newer-style stuff mate, as opposed to the structure of the tunes.
Don't take it too personally :-)

I don't blame C.Kay at all! He didn't "created" this music.

The 'dub-core' sound has worked wonders for myself and others. Take Rough Tempo. For example, it's mainly a bass music station, and that style of hardcore has helped me get it noticed on there. It pulls in listeners to my show who are DnB or Dubstep fans, and because I can slip in the 'happier sound' alongside it, it IS pulling new people into our scene. Some like it, some don't. Personally I love all music, and if I can fit it into my hardcore set, I'll play anything. It keeps things exciting and fresh for me, personally.

Well don't mind at all, but don't expect me to listen to this set. I have my opinion about Hardcore music - you have yours. My mind about electronic music has increased so much since I returned to Hardcore and I really strated to re-like the Breakbeat/D&B of The Prodigy.

Fair enough dude, I'm simply here to promote something, not to tell people they HAVE to listen

Excellent work chaps. A debate about this style of music that ended amicably within a few posts, instead of a nineteen-page slog. Very refreshing :-)

Of course! And my grump was never meant to be addressed to you personaly. I know you're just offering a show and actually this is good, because people usually don't give a shit about spreading around information, because they know their regulars will always be there.
