3D Dot Game Heroes comes into mind directly :P
There doesnt seem to be much Zelda like games on the PS3, since I would've owned it :/
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, which I have never opened the plastic wrapping on, is supposedly Zelda-ish enough.
Edit 1: I forgot about Darksiders 1 and 2.

I have only had a playstation "1", and the last games I remember were Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Medieval Nights....ya...So I am trying to find new games to get into.

Why get new ones? You can get most of those on the PS Store.

cannot recommend enough demon souls or dark souls
you'd probably really like 3d dot game hero too since it basically is zelda

I'm trying to make Dark Souls the first (and maybe only) game on the PS3 I will have a platinum throphy in... but I've already ****ed it in my 3rd playthrough so I might have to play a 4th. But then I'm playing the PC version atm so I might try to get it on there first... problem is I hate that I can't play in offline mode

Ni no Kuni (made by Studio Ghibli who do Spirit Away etc).

Ah they look so bloody different I just assumed it was a completely different game. :P Is it the same story then? Not really looked into the DS one much. Still worth his attention though I think.
