I have no intention of putting down the shovel, unless you mean I wanted B&B dead.

Please have a listen to his music this week if you get chance, very talented guy who will be missed by his fans, music colleagues and friends all over the world. Unfortunately I had a track signed to the next album but I don't think that will see the light of day now!

I guess that his family would be happy to see that the last track will be actually signed on your label, because he wanted that.

Try to get in touch with them.

What if it wasn't completed? Who should, or rather, should someone finish it?

Well, if the track isn't been completed, then it can't be released, simplies.

But since Olly was talking about signing it, probably was finished.

ok, I just want to say one last thing and I will put it to rest (it's definitly the wrong thread to talk about it), but is it sacrilegious to talk about "letting someone else finish up a track"?

I'm seriously not trying to act like a goon, I really wanna know why you think it's a joke or got offended by it.

I think it's safe to say that the answer to "can someone else finish the work" is a resounding no unless the original author actually made it clear at some point that they want someone, like a friend or relative, to finish a work of theirs if they are unable to (even then it can still be dubious). It can be seen as a form of defilement, if that makes any sense.

It's not an offensive question. And it's not impossible. It would just be outrageous, for many reasons, but none more so than because the person who is to finish it would need to access his computer and obtain his personal files. That wouldn't happen no matter what the situation, let alone this one. And then there is what Joseph said. Maybe you misunderstand how the production process works. But yeah it definitely would not happen.
