I made a community channel on facebook with the title 'UK Hardcore Hungary'!
This channel is about to popularize the style in our country and share new/cool stuffs made in it!
Take a look on it (...like if you like :P ), and I'm really curious about your thoughts on this proposal!
so? :)

Nice work and good luck in your venture, I've met many Hungarians and none of them have liked it when I put some UK Hardcore on, they all think I'm a bit rlt, although I did get one singing along to this once...

I was only there a few days, but a number of the bars and clubs I visited were playing hardcore, even during the day.

*edit* and a couple of big clothes stores too!
Was it UK/upfront hardcore, or gabber hardcore?
No gabber, but pretty much everything else. One minute it's dubstep, then house/hard house, then DnB, then trance, then cheesy '90's happy hardcore and a few upfront/UK bits and nobody seemed to care!! Shopping for clothes in a big store listening to Triple-J's 'Have it all' was a bit weird.
Ah just typed the word again and again it came out as rlt, it doesn't like the accented O's so it just leaves them out! So without the accents - orolt - means crazy, I know and can prounounce about 20 random Hungarian words that is one, strngely enough diver is another!
To response Entity's experiences - a lot genres of musics can be found in the places he mentioned, however, the spread of electronic dance music came very undirectional.
I mean, there are lots of techno, minimal, progressive house (the mainstream way of house is very typical in each clubs), and even dubstep parties in here, but in the same way lots of underground styles couldn't spread well enough.
However, there are some special exceptions, for instance last weekend I was raving to RMB's 'Spring' in a retro room of a club - it was such a fun! :D Althought it's very rare to hear something like this in a public club.
Other exception can be Cherry Coke, or I heared once Scooter's 'Friends Turbo' in a festival! :P
So, to stay at the topic, I hope that the interactive and active communication on UK Hardcore Hungary will help a little bit to enhance the hungarian rave scene, and convince people in our country that there are still many wicked stuffs in this music genre at present as well! :)
