I never liked King of My castle, all my friends loved it, I just thought it was boring and repetative...
even now years later looking back I still feel the same, but the song has some good times associated with it..so that takes the edge of it
I couldn't get over how popular Stardust - Music Sounds Better with You was as well I loved dance music back then too..but I always found it boring and repetative and couldn't understand why my friends who would usually bitch about dance music loved that track when there were so many more far complex and better tracks out there

I've grown to enjoy that song though
true story
I love King of my Castle, but I think the Armin Van Buuren remix is a bit more fun and likeable imo.
Also I liked Music Sounds Better With you for a couple of days then I got shit tired of it after that.

Triq: I had the single, and I can't for the love of it remember why I liked it (must have been the anime music video) because I also think it's very repetative :P
latin: I only listened to the first minute, and I thought it sounded worse than the "original" version
1 and only 1: wtf? =P

technically not from the internet, but where would "gay niggers from outer space" place on that scale? =P

Exactly! It represents the sound of House since the end of the 90's: drowsy speed and boring short melody, which gets played over and over again. It's House for Paris Hilton sluts.

House at the end of the 90's was at it's peak imo. Like most other music got progressively worse since.

Tmo opinion it died at that point just like almost any other electronic music. (Dutch) Trance in these days was acceptable, but far away of the quality of Trance hymns from the 90's. All the clubs (I wouldn't even call them clubs) only accepted the in-crowd (people like Paris Hilton). The prices were unpayable and dancing frowned upon. Sparkling wine and cocktails were the drinks and if you didn't look like a model, you were rejected at the front door. It's the time were my electronic music loving friends splitted up with me, because they were such people and I was depressed, because the great music died out and the best clubs were forced to close, because they were hated by public athorities. It was the bloody end of Rave culture here in Germany.
And I was interessted in House back then, but barely anything that has been produced afterwards was able to catch my attention. The first one, who was able to return a tickling feel in my stomach was Mortis with his Hard House mixes.
