Heeeeeeeey!
I've improved my old favourite London Rain - better mixdown and other stuff. I haz also included a remix pack with wavs and midis - feel free to play around with it, but read the txt file first.
London Rain started out as a breakbeat project that up to this date isn't finished, and I can't say it ever will be but I've been trying from time to time but the clip remains up. I thought the combination of the synths and melody sounded a bit gloomy and made all my effort to make it stay in that mood. It's also the first time I've ever tried incorporating a key transpose (second part of second chorus) and main inspiration for that came from Grimsoul's I'll Bring The Storm.
I then searched for hours for a voice clip I could use, and I knew that X-Files has some good speeches so I searched for and browsed through episode transcripts and then found one I wanted to use, so I took out my DVD collection (X-Files nerd warning) and recorded the speech from the DVD. :D
The title "London Rain" came from the lyrics to Berlin's "The Metro".
