Cheers guys. :) Listening back today I'm not sure the intro plucky type riff that goes through the whole track is working in places, might make some changes...?

Well spotted. ;) The chord progression was used in Velvet Room. This was to be a new Hard Trance tune under my "The Overseer" alias. I liked the vocals so much I had to do a Hardcore mix too. :P

Lovely. Can't beat a track with some proper music in it so it's definitely worth doing a Hardcore version. The changes you've mentioned would make it even better.

Has that changed quite a bit since you first put it up mate? I dunno if I'm imagining it, but it sounds much better like this. Not that it sounded bad initially. lol, it might still be exactly the same as it was the first time I head it. Sounds different/better though. Is someone going to shut me up or am I going to carry on going in fcuking word-circles here?!
But yes. That is very, very nice. I think that'll be a popular one when you get it released.

Haha I have made some changes, nothing too dramatic but I guess a little can go a long way. ;) The arp lead in the start hits some different notes, I've EQ'ed some sounds to fit in the mix better, done some volume automation here and there, changed the bass, taken the intro lead out from behind the main lead after the drop.... Oh and extended the clock bit to go beyond the vocal so you can work out exactly what it is. So actually I guess it has changed quite a bit. ;)
cheers mate! Still a bit to do but we're quite happy with how it turned out. Still got to finish the Hard Trance version which is basically a mashup of this and Velvet room. 8) Just about to crack on with more tracks for Kathy to write some vocals for so it's all go now!

only 9/10 to Gaz for the latest improvements 'cos we don't want him to become complacent by carelessly handing out 10/10s.

Whoah, Gary this track is wicked - so impressed with the creative thought that's gone into it - so much better than your average vocal track! Can't wait to hear the finished version - one thing I'd say is it feels to me like there should be a bit more epic building up to the kick-in off the break, I love the inclusion of the clock sound but some cool early 00's Scot Project style snare rolling and some cool trance building up would work a treat for me - that's only my opinion though!

Cheers mate. :D I do hear you on the build up actually. I try not to drag out breakdowns too much because I get carried away sometimes and I don't like to leave people hanging on the dancefloor too long lol. I agree though, bigger build would deffo add something. Think I'll alter it and just make the second break short. Nice one!
